At Airtight Audio, privacy is not an afterthought—it is the foundational architecture of our software. We believe your unreleased music, songwriting splits, and master audio files must never leave your computer without your explicit command.
1. The 100% On-Device Audio Privacy Guarantee
All digital signal processing (DSP), neural AI tagging (CLAP AI), spectral feature extraction, loudness calibration, and 24-bit WAV / ID3 metadata embedding occur 100% locally on your computer (via client-side WebAssembly, WebGPU, and offline native desktop binaries).
- We do NOT upload, stream, copy, or store your master audio files on remote servers.
- We do NOT use your unreleased music or stems to train third-party machine learning models.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect the minimal information necessary to deliver and license our products:
- Account & Billing Data: Name, email address, and transaction identifiers provided during checkout via Lemon Squeezy to issue license keys, receipts, and product download links.
- License Activation Data: Non-personal machine identifiers (hardware hash) transmitted to the Lemon Squeezy License API exclusively to manage seat limits and verify authentic activations.
- Local Workspace Settings: Artist profile names, PRO credentials, and songwriter splits are saved locally on your device in your browser storage (`localStorage`) or local desktop configuration files.
3. Payment Processing & Merchant of Record
Payment information (including credit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay) is handled directly and securely by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy (compliant with PCI-DSS Level 1 standards). We never receive or store your raw payment card numbers.
4. Data Retention & Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
You have the right to request deletion of your account records, access your transaction history, or deactivate your license seats at any time. You can manage your profile directly in the application or contact our privacy team.
