Frequently Answered Questions

Instant answers to common questions about desktop licenses, metadata, and exports.

How do I activate my Desktop Lifetime License? ▼
After purchasing, you will receive an email containing your SPDK-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX serial key. Download and open the SyncPilot desktop application for macOS or Windows, click the key icon in the navigation bar, paste your key, and click Activate License. The key is cryptographically verified locally and activates offline ownership immediately.
Where can I find my license key or receipt? ▼
Your license key was emailed immediately after Stripe checkout from support@airtightaudio.com. If you created or logged into an account, your active serial number is also displayed on your Account Dashboard. If you cannot find your email, submit a ticket above with your purchase email address and we will re-send your key within 4 hours.
Why don't my WAV files show tags in macOS Finder or iTunes? ▼
WAV files have two metadata standards: ID3v2 chunks (used by broadcast music supervisors, Soundminer, DISCO, and modern DAWs) and RIFF INFO chunks (used by older legacy media players). SyncPilot automatically embeds both chunks simultaneously for 100% universal compatibility. Some versions of macOS Finder only inspect basic system tags, but professional music supervisors and sync libraries will see all rich metadata intact.
How do I cancel or modify my subscription? ▼
You can manage your subscription at any time via your Account Dashboard by clicking Manage Billing (Stripe Portal). This launches the self-serve Stripe Customer Billing Portal where you can update payment cards, view invoices, or cancel renewals with 1 click. You retain Pro access until the end of your billing cycle.
Can I use my Desktop Lifetime license on more than one computer? ▼
Yes! Each Desktop Lifetime license allows simultaneous installation on up to 2 personal machines (e.g. your studio Mac and a mobile laptop). If you need additional seats for production teams or multi-room studio facilities, contact us for Agency / Multi-Seat licensing.
What is your refund policy? ▼
We offer an unconditional 14-day money-back guarantee on all Desktop Lifetime software licenses. If SyncPilot does not streamline your sync licensing workflow or meet your expectations, email support@airtightaudio.com within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund immediately.
